You Found it. This is the Official website of the one and only Last Call Heroes Championship BBQ Team. Last Call Heroes BBQ came to life in 2008 when we started cooking in back yards for various small gatherings with the intentions of perfecting our BBQ for competition. In September 2012, with the help of Calvin Christie and other good friends, Travis Duffy entered his first BBQ contest in Pierre, SD and won. Needless to say, we were hooked. We entered several more contests in 2013 and the results spoke themselves about the quality of our product. We ended the year with 2 rib contest wins, a 3rd place and a 6th place in our first showing at a KCBS sanctioned contest. Since 2014, we have focused on cooking KCBS contests with a focus on cooking ourselves into all of the World Championship contests.
In 2018, we won our first Grand Championship and got our first invite to the American Royal World Series of BBQ. Even in our fist time competing at a World Championship, we were able to find some success with an 11th overall finish in the Open contest. In 2019 we were named the American Royal Open Reserve Grand Champion.
After Covid postponed the American Royal in 2020, we returned to Kansas Speedway in 2021 with big goals.
When the dust settled, we were named the 2021 American Royal Open World Champions.
